Hummingbird Cottage is a modern cabin on the north side of Alpine. It’s outfitted with a pillow topped, queen bed, a fold-out loveseat bed, a table and chairs to seat four, a fully stocked kitchen with porcelain sink, Ikea cabinetry, spacious pantry, walk-in closet with washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with vintage sink and vintage cast-iron tub. Geek wise, the Hummingbird features wireless broadband Internet access (and wired if you bring a cable),  an iPod/iPhone dock clock, and a 32” flat-screen TV (with integrated DVD player) that swivels so you can watch from the couch or bed. As with all our habitats, the Hummingbird features Aveda amenities and locally roasted Big Bend Coffee Roasters coffee. This cottage lets for $99 a night and sleeps two adults and a child.
